I needed a knitting needle pocket. I went back to knitting with interchangeable circular needles that I find both practical and soft for my joints (❤‿❤). The price is a little high, so I bought gradually. Finally, I am sufficiently enticed by some very air patterns of knitted lace to recommend new needles … so a pocket becomes necessary.
I like sewing, but I also like to simplify my life. (* ^ ▽ ^ *) As I had a piece of felt on hand, I thought it would be all the quicker to do.
Once sewn, I found it sad, so I added pieces of tatted lace. I used a Sumi Fujishige pattern from her latest book translated into French, L’art de la frivolité à motifs végétaux. To do this, I used an Olympus 40 cotton thread.
Initially, I thought to make a neck of the book with this thread, but this thread is a bit thick for me. I dream of something more airy, so I gave up.
And then, to finish I found a pattern of Mary Konior in Tatting Lace to add.
C’est un travail d’une grande finesse une fois encore
Merci beaucoup Catherine
