Vintage inspired border

This week, it's “vintage”(^ V ^). What's your opinion?

After various vintage borders tests that I liked, I finally fixed my choice for two handkerchiefs that I have to tat. I hitched rolled to the edge of the first, and I started this border from an old German book. This is the Emmy Liebert's book you can find on the site of Georgia Seitz.

There are several patterns that have been interested me in this book, but I had difficulties: First because I can't speak German and then because the PDF file is blurry and difficult to read. I tried to guess the pattern from what I could read. But it gave too little result with the Special Dentelle. So I doubled the number of double stitches.

I hope to have completed the handkerchief next week (but to do according to “emergencies”!!), and I will try to make the diagram to share my interpretation of this pattern by Emmy Liebert. (◕‿-)

    1. Yes, je crois qu’on a eu la même instructrice! Comme j’aimais bien cela, grand-mère m’a montré beaucoup de choses aussi bien en couture, qu’en tricot ou au crochet. Je pense souvent à elle 🙂
